On June 13, 2025, the Contemporary Literature Analysis course welcomed two communication experts, Widia Nafiasari, M.Ikom., and Tri Suharman, M.Ikom., for a joint lecture entitled “Communicating with Impact through Language and Strategy.” The event, held in Room 165 of the Tower Building, focused on the challenges and opportunities of crafting meaningful communication in today’s digital era.

On April 24, 2025, the English program hosted an inspiring guest lecture by linguistics scholar Arry Purnama, PhD, who presented “(Transnational) Identity and Multiculturalism in Poststructuralist Perspective” for the Contemporary Literature Analysis course.

On May 28, 2025, the English program welcomed Ika Nur Fitriani Listyanti as the featured speaker in the Bahasa Inggris course. Held in Room 165 of the Tower Building, her lecture, titled “The Role and Status of English Language in Professional and Industrial Contexts,” shed light on the crucial place of English in today’s professional world.

On June 16, 2025, the Critical Reading course hosted a special session with author and literary critic Firnita Taufick in Room 165 of the Tower Building. Her lecture, “Critical Reading in Literature,” offered a compelling exploration of how deep engagement with texts fuels the creative process of writing. Students were eager to hear her perspectives, particularly because Firnita is known for bridging the worlds of scholarship and literary practice.
